Namo Shetkari Yojana Objectives

  2. The beneficiaries include farmers, their spouses, and minor children.
  3. Applicant farmers must have a cultivable land, which means they must hold farmland as of 1st February 2019. 
  4. There are some farmers who are not eligible, such as institutional landholders, high-income professionals, high pension beneficiaries, current or former government officers, and income tax payers.

Namo Shetkari Yojana New Registration Process

Namo Shetkari Yojana does not have any separate registration. If you are registered at the PM-Kisan scheme, you will also be registered for Namo Shetkari . If you are not yet registered, you can follow the steps below: 

  1. Go to the official portal of the PM-Kisan Scheme and press the “New Farmer Registration” option. 
  2. Input the details of your Aadhaar card, Mobile Number, and choose the state as “Maharashtra”.
  3. Fill in your personal details, bank account information, and land data in the form. 
  4. Press the “Submit” button to submit the forms successfully. 
  5. Now, you need to wait for the verification by the local authorities.

How to check the Beneficiary status?

It is very easy to check the payment status by following the steps below: 

  1. Visit the official portal of PM Kisan and press the “Beneficiary status” option. 
  2.  You can check the status using 2 methods – Registration number or Mobile number. 
  3. If you select the registration number, you need to enter your registration number in the provided space to check status and payment details. 
  4. In case you wish to check the status using your mobile number, you must enter your mobile number. 
  5. You may find messages on the page – “FTO Generated”, “Payment Confirmed”, “Pending”, or “Rejected”.
