The eligibility criteria of Swami Vivekananda Scholarship (SVMCM) Scheme applicant 2025 are given below-

1. Eligibility: The candidates applying for this scholarship must be West Bengal residents.

2. Educational Requirements: Class 11 and 12: The applicant must be enrolled in Madrasa Education (upper secondary level), the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, or the West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education.  

• Undergraduate Courses: Students must only be admitted to undergraduate programs in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, and Technical/Professional programs offered by West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development-affiliated institutions that have received AICTE approval.  
• Postgraduate Courses: Candidates must be accepted into a good West Bengali government or AICTE-approved postgraduate programs in science, the arts, commerce, technology, or management.  
• Research Courses: The candidate must be enrolled in M. Phil. or Ph.D. programs at universities which are in west bengal. 

3. Academic Requirements: There is a particular educational criteria for every course you have met those criteria to get scholarship 

4. Family Income: Annual income of the student who is applying for the scholarship should not be more than ₹250000

Details of Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Amount.

Let’s read some detail of this scholarship below-

1. Directorate of School Education (DSE): The monthly scholarship payment for higher secondary school students is Rs. 1000.  

2. Directorate of Madrasah Education (DME): Students enrolled in high madrasah courses are eligible for a stipend that pays Rs. 1000 per month.  

3. Kanyashree (K3) and the Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI): Undergraduate students who are studying arts and commerce will  receive Rs. 1000 per month in this scholarship. The monthly payment for undergraduate students enrolled in professional degrees like applied science will get a support of Rs. 1500.  The scholarship provides Rs. 2000 per month for postgraduate students studying arts and commerce.  

For postgraduate students enrolled in science and other professional degrees provides Rs. 2500 per month.  Scholarships for M.Phil. and Ph.D. students who are not NET eligible range from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 8000 per month.

Note for Female Students:

This scholarship opportunity is under the Kanyashree (K3) scholarship category and is available to female candidates from West Bengal who wish to pursue higher education in the arts, sciences, or business and have grades of at least 45%. To enroll for the SVMCM scholarship 2025, you need to upload many essential required documents with your online application which includes:

1. Income proof (specific format).

2. Admission receipt bill

3. Marksheet for the last educational exam(both sides).

4. A scanned copy of bank statement or passbook (account number and IFSC code should be mentioned).
